It was really fun whirlwind this week, but I am sooo freakin' tired.....

So now...we had to get the set together for the stills shot, so back to building

A wall had to come down to accomodate the wide shot so...

the grips....working hard....ha!

Here we are on the first day of the shoot...camera in place, after several 14 hour days it was ready.

After we finally built the set, my assistants & I had to frantically furnish the set, so the quickest thing was IKEA!!! And I will tell you I spent almost 2 full days in that freakin' store! I also managed to lose my binder containing all my notes for the shoot, but fortunately for me I was able to recover all of my things. Josh & Thomas (my fab assists) began putting all that crazy Swedish furniture together, while I once again shopped to add a little non-swed style to the whole thing. After maxing out 2-3 credit cards, we finally had a set!

I have lost all track of time & space lately, but I just finished a huge production s the production designer/set dresser and am still catching up on my sleep. This is a 4 room set where a motion control camera sits in the center. I had a bedroom, bathroom, hallway & kitchen/laundry room, where the talent runs around the house doing all her crazy little chores.

So, I thought it might be fun to let you see a little of the progression of my life that week and a half. So the build begins....

Columbus fun continues

Yes, I got pretty darn lazy with the holiday weekend and all, but I am hoping to get back on it this week & find some inspiration...stick with me!

Today

Today I decided to dive into my Columbus pics and play with them a bit, but sadly, I think I will need to spend much more time on Photoshop to figure it out...maybe a book would help, huh? But, I think some of the photos are really fun, so this is a start...

Thanks to my 4 friends who checked my blog out...your awesome! Hopefully, once I get a little more proficient with my camera, I'll have lots of cool stuff to look at...come back again...please!

Currently trying to get Lou, my 7 year old, to give me some drawings of things he would like on a t-shirt to get me started, otherwise...he gets what I make for him. Its been a couple days...maybe I should remind him.
